One thing that has aways bugged me about the MobiPocket reader on the E61 is the default font. Just discovered that you can change it. Here’s how-
- Insert your SD card into an SD card reader and create a new folder called ‘Fonts’ in the Resource folder.
- Copy some fonts from Windows/Fonts on your PC to this new folder.
- Re-insert your SD card into the E61 and turn it off and back on.
- In MobiPocket go to settings/fonts and then choose one of your new fonts from the list. Works really well and brings it close to eReader quality.
If you know of other applications you can change the font in let us all know…

Does this procedure applies also to fonts used for messages and mail? One big problem of the E-series is having small size fonts and if this would be a solution I would, and many other too, more than happy to try it.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to get Arial, Times New Roman and Verdana working. They appear as the default S60 font. Others work perfectly fine and display properly. Any ideas?

No it doesn´t. For that you need to create a font package in .gdr format and create a folder under C:\ in which you place the file.

I can’t find the “Resource” folder. Is it hidden? How do I un-hide it? I’m a heavy e-reader and would really like an improvement to the native Mobireader font! Thanks!

That’s simply awesome. I was missing Repligo so much from my previous S60. ‘Installed’ Trebuchet and Times New Roman; who needs Repligo.
@SlipKoRnSaad: It worked just fine on my N80. Just attached the N80 with the PC through a data-cable and chose Data Tansfer mode to copy fonts.
