[...] The functionality as a phone is very good. I like the battery life and the universal call list (calls made/received/missed without having to go back and forth through the menu), although the way SonyEricsson handles it still is a bit better. Contacts and appointments work fine, although I don’t use the appointments part too often (although Papyrusrocks). [...]

I have tried both and won't change from AquaCalendar to Papyrus.
Look att the difference: www.pockettorch.net

Papyrus doesn't have zoom, today view, templates, hotkeys or icons for individual appointments. But it's of course 5 euros cheaper...

I gave it a quick try last night, more out of interest than any real need since I am back using a paper diary. It looks very pretty but I had all day events that were 'seeping' onto the next day, presumably because there is some issue with timezones. It is a shame that it is not 100% yet since SBSH have a great reputation but, as vioccc said, pressure on them probably caused the slightly imperfect release.

I find these problems disturbing since Beta 22 works perfectly well on my E61.

Yes, it looks like they've rushed it out. I was very surprised to see that they had released it since even though the latest beta was quite stable, there are still several issues that should have been fixed before the public release. I suppose that there was too much pressure from all those people frustrated by S60's poor built-in calendar that they felt forced to release it as early as possible. Hopefully, the latest glitches will be fixed very soon.
