Over the next few days I will be chasing developers to see what the situation is regarding them updating their current programs or releasing new software for S60 3rd. Sent out two so far and here’s the replies (names not given at this time)-
“I would love to port them, but until Symbian/Nokia or someone agree to support OPL on S60 there is no chance I am afraid.”
“Thanks for the tip and information. We are in fact very interested in moving to this platform, but it will take us a while (probably at least until the end of the year) as our resources are limited. It will also require quite a bit of re-work.”
