navicore

Just received my copy of navicore Personal and will attempt to have a review up withing the next few days. It certainly ticks all of the boxes in terms of spec but real world use can often be a very different thing.

If you can’t wait for my review check out this one at AAS.

“Whether you’re working or on holidays, there are better things to do during travel than trying to comprehend an old map or deciphering unclear driving instructions. Navicore Personal is the easy to use navigator that loyally accompanies you in your pocket to wherever you go and effortlessly guides you to the destination. So you’ll find your way stress-free irrespective of whether you are driving a car, cycling or just having a walk.”

  1. You should try Nav4all (http://www.nav4all.com) which is available for E61. It’s one of the most complete soft I have seen and… free of charges !

You just have to download it, connect your Nokia E61 to a Bluetooth GPS antenna and it works ;-)

  2. Hi

I did try nav4all on my e61 which worked perfectly. Since I upgraded my firmware to 2.0618.06.05 I cannot install it anymore which is a shame.

I did write to nav4all and hope to hear from them when an upgrade would be available.

Anyone was able to use it with this new firmware??

  3. Dear Pierre,
Does it cost to access nav4all everytime I search for directions to a particular destination?

Do U mean to say that if I have a E61 and a wireless bluetooth receiver ( of Tomtom or other company) I can get the navigation system free with nav4all? My phone company would charge me for internet isnt it?
    Thanks
    Praveen
