Watchman

Filed under: Software — stmcgill @ 5:47 pm

The very first application I decided I needed after purchaisng the E61 was a planner / information holder and after trying various JME apps I discovered Watchman which does the job perfectly. It is also very cheap as well.

“Watchman is a mobile application that lets you store any kind of sensitive information in a secure way.”

  • Password protected application;
  • Three types of records: Login, Credit Card and Text Note; 1
  • Records organized in user created categories;
  • Unlimited number of categories with an unlimited number of records on each;
  • Information encrypted using an algorithm that guarantees security without compromising performance;
  • Application can be locked or terminated automatically after a predefined period of inactivity, requiring the user to login again;
  • All information can be automatically deleted after a user-defined number of failed login attempts to prevent brute force attacks;
  • 2 languages supported: English and Portuguese.

    1. Hi Shaun,

      Let me introduce myself: my name is Tommi Vilkamo and I work for a Nokia unit that develops built-in S60 applications for all Nokia S60 devices, including E61.

      I’m currently collecting feedback about the S60 3rd Edition devices, and the built-in applications. As you seem to quite knowledgeable about E61, as well as other platforms, why don’t you go and submit your improvement wishes to my little poll?
